Tales from Château Citadelle du Cavalier
We are Suzie and Rols, following our dream of moving to France. We bought our chateau in March 2021, sold to us as a Grande Maison. We quickly learnt that it was in fact formerly a 15th century Citadelle and then our Marie informed us it was indeed a château. It had been unoccupied for 35 years, but was previously owned by 3 generations of the same family. One of our requirements was to have an enclosed walled garden for our rescue furbabies, in fact the whole of our land is enclosed, so it was perfect, we have our own little kingdom! Join us on our journey and watch this, once neglected but now much loved, château come back to life.
